Abstract
This publication corresponds to issue number 20 of Revista Ambiental ÉOLO, marking its 26th year of continuous editorial history. This issue falls within the 2023–2025 thematic period, "Climate Crisis, Desertification, and Biodiversity." Accordingly, the issue offers a journey that combines critical analyses of the tensions among regulation, development models, scientific knowledge, and productive practices, on one hand, with the visibility of experiences, tools, and initiatives aimed at biodiversity conservation and care for life, on the other. Readers will find a deliberate transition between the diagnosis of socio-environmental conflicts and the exploration of alternatives built from the territories, science, and collective action. Starting with this issue, Revista Ambiental ÉOLO strengthens its editorial process by adopting formal criteria aimed at standardization and academic quality, incorporating guidelines from the author style manual and APA citation and referencing standards, in order to facilitate its circulation across various indexing systems, digital platforms, and academic spaces.
