Abstract
All of Life present on the planet is made up of the totality of living beings that populate the Earth in conjunction with the physical conditions that make their existence possible. The Biosphere took more than 4 billion years of evolution to reach its current state. To understand the mystery of Life, it is useful to trace time back to the great initial explosion that gave rise to the universe. Following the evolutionary course, the matter and energy arising from the Big Bang found on planet Earth specific conditions favorable to the emergence of Life. In this universal history, human beings, blessed with a unique consciousness, are among the last to appear, and the primary agent responsible for the current destruction affecting the Biosphere, with which they necessarily share the same fate.
