Abstract
An unpublished poem by Colombian writer Olga Elena Mattei, written in 1967 and published for the first time in this issue of the journal. In a prophetic register with biblical references, the text addresses the problem of hunger and the global food crisis, anticipating scenarios of scarcity, institutional collapse, and social deterioration stemming from an inadequate response to global food insecurity.
