Abstract

A compilation of this issue's poetry section, bringing together fragments and short texts by various authors on the relationship between human beings, the city, and the biosphere. It includes the closing passage of Carl Sagan's Cosmos, excerpts from Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, Tomás Carrasquilla's costumbrista piece El Río on the Aburrá River, a reflection by Suely Rolnik on territorialization in architecture, the poem Urbana by Kichwa writer Lucila Lema Otavalo, a philosophical text by Edgar Garavito, Pablo Neruda's poem Ode to Wood, and a multilingual presentation of the journal's editorial motto.
