Abstract
The Botanical Garden is a great nursery, a public park, and an open-air environmental classroom; it also promotes and strengthens sustainability through major botanical projects across the region and the country, many of which have arisen from international initiatives. Through scientific research, the Garden enables the flow of information, connecting the Aburrá Valley metropolitan area with the department, the country, and the world, through activities that ensure the dissemination of knowledge in support of biodiversity conservation, which have allowed it to promote national and international scientific activities.
