Abstract
Written by the Coordinator of the Colombian Biological Agriculture Network, Antioquia Chapter, this article develops a conceptual framework on responsible consumption within the context of economic globalization and its effects on global income inequality. The author presents the concept of critical, supportive, and collective consumption developed by Brazilian authors, distinguishing three dimensions of responsible consumption: ethical, ecological, and social-solidarity based. The text presents a practical methodology for forming solidarity consumption groups, and describes the "Solidarity Culture, Responsible Consumption and Strengthening the Solidarity Economy" campaign developed by Antioquia's Solidarity Economy Network.
