Abstract
This article recounts the experience of two organizations of female heads of household engaged in recycling in Medellín, documenting their involvement in the PAISA program, which generated more than 800 jobs collecting recyclable materials. The text describes the difficulties faced due to shortcomings in program oversight and reflects on these women's social vulnerability.
