Abstract
This article presents the fundamentals of ecotourism and its potential in Colombia. It describes an environmental guide-training course for the Alto El Romeral Reserve, developed by Fundación Con Vida and Corporación La Ceiba with young people from Angelópolis, detailing the training methodology and the sustainable-ecotourism principles guiding the initiative.
