Abstract

This article analyzes the role of the El Romeral and Pico Manzanillo forest reserves as strategies to address environmental conflicts in the southern Aburrá Valley, describing their hydrological and cultural importance. The author notes the lack of coordinated management among administrations, communities, and environmental authorities, highlighting coordination spaces such as the Southern Environmental Roundtable.
