Abstract

This article analyzes the landscape of the Alto El Romeral Reserve as heritage integrating ecological and cultural values. Located at 2,800 meters above sea level, the reserve hosts a highly diverse cloud forest, along with pre-Hispanic archaeological remains. The author describes the mountain's five life zones and the traditional architecture of Angelópolis, founded in 1887, highlighting the reserve's tourism and educational potential.
