Within the framework of the National Environmental Policy, it defines the concept of Strategic Ecosystem and explains the technical criteria for delimiting them. The author distinguishes between environmental goods with market prices and environmental services without monetized value, presenting the criteria used to identify the region's strategic ecosystems.
