Abstract
This article seeks to share part of the community work carried out by Chichimeca (Mexico) Indigenous biologist Julio López in several Latin American countries, where he has introduced his concept of "Hervolution" (Herbolution) through informational talks and practical actions that strengthen ancestral, ethnobotanical, medicinal, food-related, and commercial knowledge of plants, seeking to empower communities and promote self-management based on the plant resources of their environment. This piece shows the persistence of plant-based memory across different cultures over time, its usefulness, and its natural magic.
