Abstract
This article describes the process of generating and utilizing biosolids at the San Fernando Plant in Itagüí. The author explains sludge stabilization through anaerobic digestion and the regulatory framework guiding a Colombian regulation project. It documents research by Empresas Públicas de Medellín with the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana on soil restoration and biosolid composting.
